BSc (Hons) Multimedia Production & Technology @ The University of Plymouth

I studied Multimedia Production & Technology at The University of Plymouth for three years (2004-2007). The course covered digital media production methods, computer networking and communications.

Year 1 - The first year included studying, experimenting, developing and creating my own ideas by using different digital media. I also studied web technologies, visual programming techniques and the basics of the enabling technologies of telecommunications and electronics.

Year 2 - This year included the study and use of Java and remote data access technologies. The hardware components of computer networks were reviewed and investigated and information processing and data storage methods were studied.

Year 3 - I worked on my final year project which was a 3D animated movie created in 3Ds Max and edited in Adobe After Effects. I used my knowledge and ideas gained whilst at university for this. Multimedia and the way it will impact our day to day lives in the future was also looked at and IP networking was studied also.
